How To Watch Worship: Live on Zoom

Step 1: Download Zoom Beforehand

To participate in our 9 AM Interactive Worship on Zoom, you’ll need the Zoom app installed on your device.

Step 2: Join Zoom Worship

You can join Zoom Worship using your computer, phone, or tablet.

On a Computer:

  1. Visit the Foothills Worship page at https://www.foothillsuu.org/watch.
  2. Click “Join on Zoom” under the 9 AM Interactive Worship section.
  3. Fill out the short form that appears and click Submit.
  4. Zoom will automatically open. If prompted, click Open Zoom Meetings.

On a Phone or Tablet:

  1. Open the Foothills Worship page in your browser or the Church Center app: https://www.foothillsuu.org/watch.
  2. Tap “Join on Zoom” under the 9 AM Interactive Worship section.
  3. Fill out the short form and tap Submit.
  4. When prompted, tap Open Zoom. If Zoom doesn’t open automatically, open the Zoom app manually and enter the Meeting ID and Passcode provided.

Step 3: Adjust Zoom Settings for the Best Experience

  1. Turn on Audio: Click Join Audio or Call via Device Audio.
  2. Turn on Video (optional): Click the camera icon labeled Start Video.
  3. Use Chat: Click the chat icon to interact with others during the service.

Q: Do I need a working microphone or camera to participate in Zoom worship?

Q: I can’t download Zoom. What should I do?

Q: The Zoom meeting isn’t opening. What’s wrong?

Q: I can’t hear anything.

How to Watch Worship: Comprehensive Guide

Step 1: Navigate to the Worship Page

  1. Open a web browser on your computer, tablet, or smartphone.
  2. Go to our website: www.foothillsuu.org
  3. Click on the “Watch” option in the navigation menu, or go directly to https://www.foothillsuu.org/watch.

Step 2: Choose Your Worship Option

You’ll see three options for participating in worship:

  1. Interactive Worship on Zoom at 9 AM MST

  2. Livestream Worship at 11 AM MST

    • Click “Watch Live on Church Center”.
    • You can watch on your computer or through the Church Center app on your iOS or Android device.
      • To download the app, search for "Church Center" in the App Store (for iPhones) or Google Play Store (for Android devices).

  3. Watch On Demand Anytime

    • Scroll to the “Explore On-Demand Worship” section.
    • This takes place through out ChurchCenter App. 
    • Browse our library of past services and click on any service to watch it.

How To Watch Worship on ChurchCenter

Step One: Access ChurchCenter

Option 1: via Web Browser

  1. Visit the Church Center Website

  2. Navigate to Worship

    • Click on “Watch Worship” in the menu at the top of the page.

Option 2: Via ChurchCenter App

  1. Download the Church Center App

    • Via Direct Download Link
    • Open the App Store (iPhone/iPad) or Google Play Store (Android).
      • Search for “Church Center”.
      • Tap Download or Install and wait for the app to install.
      • Open the app, search for Foothills Unitarian Church, or enter our location in Fort Collins, Colorado.
      • Log in or create an account using your email address.

  2. Find Worship Services

    • Tap on “Watch Worship” from the app's menu. (On some devices, it may be under the More menu.

Step 2: Join the Livestream

  1. Click the “Join Livestream” button under the 11 AM Worship Service section.
  2. The livestream will open directly in your browser.
    • During the livestream, use the chat feature on the right side of the screen to connect with others attending worship.

Step 4: Watch Past Services

  1. Scroll to the Recent Services or Sermon Series section.
  2. Click on the episode or series you’d like to view.
  3. You can:
    • Watch the video directly in your browser.
    • Listen to the audio-only version for a more convenient option.

Step 5: Access Notes and Additional Features

  1. Select a sermon and click Take Notes to jot down reflections or key points during the service.
  2. You can:
    • Email the notes to yourself.
    • Share the notes link with others.
    • View fill-in-the-blank answers after the service.

How to Watch On-Demand Worship Content

You can easily watch or listen to past worship services and sermon series through Church Center. Follow these steps to access on-demand content.

Option 1: Using a Web Browser

  1. Visit the Church Center Website

  2. Navigate to On-Demand Content

    • Click on “Watch Worship” in the menu at the top of the page.
    • Scroll to the Recent Services or Sermon Series sections.

  3. Select an Episode or Series

    • Browse the available episodes or sermon series.
    • Click on the episode or series you want to watch or listen to.

  4. Choose How to Engage

    • Watch the Video: Click the “Watch” button to view the video directly in your browser.
    • Listen to Audio: If an audio-only option is available, click “Listen” to stream or download the audio.

  5. Take Notes (Optional)

    • Select the Take Notes option to jot down reflections or key points during the episode.
    • You can:
      • Email the notes to yourself.
      • Share the notes link with others.
      • View fill-in-the-blank answers for guided note-taking.

Option 2: Using the Church Center App

  1. Open the Church Center App

    • If you don’t have the app, download it from the App Store (iPhone/iPad) or Google Play Store (Android) and log in to your account.

  2. Navigate to On-Demand Content

    • Tap on “Watch Worship” from the app menu. (On some devices, it may be under the More menu.)
    • Scroll to the Recent Services or Sermon Series sections.

  3. Select an Episode or Series

    • Tap on the episode or series you want to access.

  4. Choose How to Engage

    • Watch the Video: Tap the “Watch” button to view the video directly in the app.
    • Listen to Audio: If available, tap “Listen” to stream or download the audio.
